Are you guilty of buying something and using it right away? I sure am or if I buy a gift for someone...I have to give it to them right then and there. So in other words, I am impatient. As you know, I have been intrigued by all the upcoming fall trends. To eager to wait, I thought to myself..
...why should I have to wait for fall? There are tons of trends that I can mix into my summer wardrobe now.
This is example numero uno. I have always been a fan of mixing masculine and feminine items. My favorite accessory in my closet are my father's suspenders. This upcoming fall you will see many masculine/feminine pairings, such as vests, suits, tailored looks etc. For my look, I took a plain white button up and dressed it up with a houndstooth scarf (a pattern that is also going to be a winner this fall). Then, I finished it off with a pair of denim shorts to keep the relaxed summer vibe. I love scarfs, if you haven't noticed already, because the options are endless. I tied the scarf a couple of different ways in this look and you can see how different they are from each other. Have fun and play around with it!
